Have you seen these portable bathtubs for adults? While some look hysterical, they serve a very functional purpose. Find out what purpose they serve inside!
ROUNDUP
Top 5 Rated Portable Bathtubs For Adults
A working title to this was “When Instagram Ad Insanity Meets Real Life Necessity”.
We are not strangers to a bathroom renovation.
We had high hopes we could gut an entire bathroom and make it over in 6 weeks.
With a full time job and adopting a son in the midst.
EL. Oh. EL.
Then I saw an ad for a portable tub for adults on Instagram a few weeks ago and nearly peed my pants laughing.
I’m sorry, but if you see that and don’t laugh, there’s something wrong with you. But it got me thinking – How great would this be if you had a camper?
Orrrr smack dab in the middle of a bathroom reno and need to bathe a kid or 12.
So, because I love you (and because I enjoy rabbit holes apparently), I am comparing the top 5 rated inflatable or portable tubs for adults. Let’s go!

CO-Z Inflatable Tub For Adults
This inflatable tub has over 1500 reviews and 4 stars. It’s the best seller on Amazon and it is under $100! Like way under $100.
The Co-Z Inflatable Adult Bath Tub is made from premium quality PVC material that doesn’t absorb water and is also mildew, mold, and UV resistant. It has a large roomy interior with an inflatable pillow to prop your neck while taking a bath. The armrests provide additional comfort if you want to relax in the tub.
It’s easy to fill up the tub! It also comes with an electric air pump that can inflate the tub in three minutes or less! The tub has two separate drainage points to make draining water easier.
This inflatable tub also can shrink right back down and fold up to store with your towels or bed linens. You would just want to ensure that it’s totally dry before you store it so that you don’t run the risk of getting mold growing. It can resist mold, but you have to help set it up for success.
This Co-Z Inflatable Adult Bath Tub is great for adults, but you can also use it as a pool or tub for small children (with adult supervision obviously). This will help make bathing them much more comfortable since they can enjoy a little more room to move around in.
Portable Foldable Bathtub
Also well over 1400 4 star ratings and around $60 is this portable foldable bathtub.
This tub probably isn’t one to full out lounge in since it’s taller and more cylindrical, but it still is a great option if you’re in need of a portable tub for adults.
This foldable tub measures 29 inches in diameter when setup. It’s made from PVC pipes and premium waterproof fabric to support full size adults.
The manufacturers do warn against using it in too cold areas because of the possibility of a PVC pipe leaking. So if you’re trying to use this outside or if for some reason you’re in a non-heated area, this may not be the one for you.
But if you’re looking for something to get you through a renovation until you can get a tub or if you’re living that RV life over the summer, this could be a great choice!
Tubble Royale
Coming in with my choice for names of these portable tubs is the….Tubble Royale.
You guys, if I were on the product team this would have been my suggestion hands down.
I digress.
This tubble inflatable tub is a tan color which I know is weird to care about but I think it’s one of the more aesthetically pleasing ones. So if you’re planning on using this long term during a bathroom renovation or even if you’re going to be using it camping.
The Tubble comes with an electric pump and can inflate in a minute which seems super fast for it to be as large as it is. It can hold 60 gallons of water and is 4 feet long. Great for kids and even if you’re a taller adult, you can stretch your legs out a decent bit!
It is a bit more expensive than the previous 2, but I still think it’s well worth the price and the Amazon reviews seem to feel the same way.
Freestanding Portable Tub For Adults
This portable bathtub is a very simply designed PVC and waterproof fabric, much like the previous portable bathtub. It’s also very inexpensive so if you’re on a budget, this could be a great choice for you.
I like that it comes in a few different patterns so you can show your personality and bring some joy into the tubby tub.
And if you’re like us and had a lot of hiccups with your bathroom renovation, trust me – you’ll need some joy.
This has fewer ratings than the other portable tubs, but it’s got almost 5 stars which means all those people agreed that it’s great and let’s be honest – it’s hard to find 2 people who agree on anything, much less more 2.
It doesn’t have all the bells and whistles that some of the other portable tubs have, but it serves the purpose.
Portable Soaking Bathtub
Round out the list of portable tubs for adults is this inflatable soaking tub.
I really appreciate that this comes in 2 sizes so if you’re single or if you have smaller kids, you can get the smaller one that still works even if you’re up to 5’10. The larger one can house a human up to 6’2 which is great.
Even though it’s cylindrical, it’s shorter in height so you don’t have to worry too much about tripping over it getting in which is huge in the instance you’re not the best at balance.
There is only a $10 price difference between the large and the small one and they’re both still under $100!
Inflatable tubs aren’t just for camping or if you’re doing a bathroom renovation. If you’re in a temporary living situation like a rental or an apartment that only has a shower, you can put an inflatable tub in the shower so that you can have a tub as well.
I love that these portable tubs seem like they’re just a short term solution (which they can be), but if you’re in a situation where you need to use this longer, they all would work for that.
The inflatable or portable tubs listed are all great solutions for those who don’t have the space to install a permanent bathtub. Whether you need a portable tub outside or inside of your home, there is one out there for you!
And do me a favor – if you end up getting the Tubble Royale because of its name, please just send me and email and let me know. It will bring joy to my day.
