Feet Up Friday: Episode 4
In Feet Up Friday series of blog posts, we talk about real things going on behind the scenes that aren’t always home/DIY related. Trying to keep it real up in here!
This week will be a short but sweet episode, so here we go:
- My father-in-law had to have emergency triple bypass surgery so my husband had to go out of town last minute and very unexpectedly. He’s totally fine and has made a full recovery! But that also means he missed his weekly daddy/daughter date with Charlotte so I took her on a mommy and me day! We went and got her her first “big girl drink” at Starbucks (which was a kid’s caramel apple spice) and a cake pop. She thought she was big money!
- I was heading out of town on a road trip and figured I wanted some murder reading material. I LOVE true crime (also Jesus but definitely true crime) and I’ve heard great things about these and have already dove in to one and it’s GREAT! If you’ve read them, no spoilers!
- Also, I talked recently about painting our kitchen cabinets and went to stroll the aisles at HomeGoods and found these and FELL ABSOLUTELY IN LOVE:
Are you kidding me? Silicone ends with copper handles?! Yassssss.
