The Best Interior Door Lever Handles
A roundup of the most stylish and best modern farmhouse interior door handle levers.
After we did a test run and painted one interior door and spray painted the door handle and hinges, we fell in love and decided painting all the interior doors was the right way to go.
However, what we also decided was that we wanted a more modern look than our round knobs that we had. We just wanted something a little more squared off to somewhat match our farmhouse/transitional trim that we’ve been (slowly) working on. After a LOT of searching, we found some of our favorite modern farmhouse interior door handle levers and decided to share them with you all in case you’re looking to do something similar soon!
I’m going to talk about what I like about each of these and leave you hanging and force you to watch my Instagram stories here soon about which ones we chose and ordered.
Our favorite modern farmhouse interior door handle levers
First up is the Schlage Custom Eller Lever with Century Trim. I love that the back of this knob is square, but it’s also got a bit of rounded concave-ness to it.
Here is the Kwikset Square Halifax. I love that this is totally square and symmetrical. This is a clean, no fuss handle and let’s face it, she cute.
This is the Kwikset Milan. To me this is very similar to the Halifax except the handle itself is a bit more rounded. If you can’t tell yet, I’m a simple girl and like clean, sharp lines with maybe a hint of pizazz.
Now on to the Kwikset Montreal. I’m kinda digging the contrast of the square handle and the round background. It’s like almost like a regular interior doorknob. Except not.
Last we have the Schlage Accent Lever with Addison trim. This is what I would consider the fanciest of them all. I really like the trim of this one and even though the handle does a little swoopdie swoop, I still really like this guy.
I’m sure there’s more out there, but I get overwhelmed easy and I feel there’s enough variety in these to keep it interesting, but also enough simplicity to keep our decision making for these fairly easy.
We are definitely going to be going with one of these, but per usual, I want to do a touch more research to make a decision. You’ll have to follow us on Instagram to find out which ones we choose!
