Choosing Interior Doorknobs
We finalized our decision to choosing interior doorknobs. We went with Kwikset Halifax and I’m sharing why.
In case you missed it, we painted our interior doors and I am THRILLED with how they turned out! Crazy how a darker color can actually make a space look brighter. I snapped this picture to show off our new entry rug and knew I didn’t like the doors but when I saw it, I was like, “Enough is enough. We’re doing this.” So, it went from this:

I was just so pleased with how they turned out. We have previously spray painted all our doorknobs matte black, but had been looking in to getting new doorknobs and finally settled on the Kwikset Halifax Square in Iron Black. I thought it’d be nice of me to share the reason we chose the ones we did. Don’t say I never did anything for ya.
STYLE
I love the lever versus a doorknob personally. They’re also a blessing because our three year old can now easily open doors for herself. They’re also a curse because our three year old can now easily open doors for herself.
SHAPE
Square. Love it. Round is nice, but I’m a sucker for some nice, clean lines. If you’re choosing interior doorknobs, you obviously want the one you don’t mind seeing over and over again throughout your house. Nothing else in our house is clean, so might as well have some clean lines, AMIRITE?!
INSTALL
These were an absolute breeze to install. 
I mean, there’s not a lot I can get right or even do myself around these parts, but I was able to do these! Now, full disclosure, I didn’t do them all. I had to give J something to do. He’s been really bored lately. jkjkjk
I have been loving having these door handles and can’t wait to continue putting them in our rooms upstairs like the french doors to our playroom and our office.
