Primary Bedroom Christmas Decor Tour

Tell all ya friends and neighbors!

A tour of our master bedroom all decorated up for Christmas. See the simple decor we added to our bedroom for our Christmas season.

Confession time. I’ve never decorated any other room other than our living room for Christmas. Ever. And I have this year and I’m LOVING the warm feel it just adds to multiple rooms of our house! We started with a simple wreath on our tiny front “porch” (I mean, can you even call it a porch if it’s like 3 steps and a fake double door? Probably not? Cool.) Then I decided to get super festive and decorate our back porch and it is hands down my favorite thing I’ve done so far this season. Don’t hold me to this, but I plan on doing this every year from here on out as long as we’re in this house.

I also brought in the decor to our bedroom. I’ve secretly always wanted to decorate our bedroom for Christmas and this year the stars aligned and a crime of opportunity was born.*Some affiliate links are provided for your shopping convenience.

Again, I wanted to keep it simple because the reality is we still have to sleep in here and what I don’t want to do is have a bunch of crap on the floor that we had to scooch out of the way from our bed or other places. Some quick garland across the top of our bed, some pillows that should look familiar if you’ve seen our back porch (I mean, who can resist a $15 pillow at Walmart? It’s a bargain and I really do like that faux fur look!)I found these matching small trees at Kirkland’s for $10 on Black Friday and snagged one for each nightstand. I had some leftover fabric from our wreath this year that I wrapped around a little box to give that candle some height. And that candle is like decades old and smells like a giant Christmas tree and it’s fabuloso. As you can see, our dresser is super simple. I’m not sure if you guys are the same way, but our dresser gets stuff just PILED ON it all the time and it drives me nuts. It doesn’t matter what I do, I can NOT seem to keep it clean and it drives me bonkers. BUT for the time being, this picture is sponsored by Hearth And Hand. Totally kidding, but the candle ring and the wreath are both from Target. If you’re in the business for a real looking wreath, THIS IS IT! I really feel like I can use this all year round and I have to say I REALLY love it. The ginormous, too big for literally anything/anywhere tobacco basket was from Kirkland’s a while back. I used some real greenery from our local Christmas tree farm and used that extra fabric I had laying around to tie in to my nightstand.Last little detail was these 3 flocked trees that I got Black Friday from At Home. I love these guys, but they smell SO STRONG so word to the wise, let these guys like air out or something so you’re not suffocating in the fumes.Oh, and those prints? Stay tuned because I’m going to be sharing those guys with you soon as printables if you like them! (Update: You can get these printables HERE!) I thought they were super cute and a fun little touch above our bed.
