Crafts just ain’t for the little ones! Here are some great and easy ideas for easy crafts for adults that you can try right now and I bet you already have most of this stuff at home!
This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Cricut. All opinions are 100% mine.
It makes me giggle when I think that I started this blog with the idea that it was going to be minor home improvement projects and mostly tiny arts and crafts. Think all the DIY craft ideas with mod podge, tissue paper, and mason jars you can imagine with a few painted rooms and easy DIY projects and that was going to be it.
HARDEE HAR HAR because the biggest disasters I’ve had on this blog so far have been the little things.
Does anyone remember the painted drawer situation at the end of last year that made my face do this? I’m still not over it. And yes, it took us 11 months to gut and refinish our guest bathroom, but it turned out friggin’ awesome and it was actually not a disaster. Just a time suck.
I love making crafts with Char because she loves it too (like our DIY love bunnies or these DIY teacher gifts) but mama also likes to craft too. Not all the time because who has time to do that, but since we’ve been given a gift of time as a country as of late, I have been on the hunt for some good projects that mama can do in her “down time”.
And there’s a ton out there so I thought I’d round up my favorites for ya in case you’re in the same boat as me and looking for crafts that are a bit of a mixture of DIY home decor and craft ideas for adults all wrapped into one!

Some affiliate links may be used for your convenience. With no additional cost to you, affiliate links allow me to pay for things like web hosting, site security, email service, and bottles of wine from Aldi when any of the aforementioned things aren’t working for me.
Vinyl Door Quote
I love this quote from Cassie Bustamante! I also love that you can make it say what you want it to say. Y’all know me, I’d be having something like, “Stay away,” or, “Yes, I really did order all that from Amazon. I’m sorry UPS,” but you know, what she has is cute too. I love a good DIY project that mixes home decor with a craft project.
Crepe Paper Peonies
These crepe paper peonies from Christina at DIY Mommy are a craft project to DIE FOR. I had a really hard time believing they were paper. They look like something that you’d snag at an aisle of Hobby Lobby! It’s no secret that I’m not a green thumb, but I can feel fairly confident about keeping these bad boys alive. Plus, who doesn’t love flowers to brighten up any space?!
DIY Cleaner Labels
Trying to find cleaning supplies in the current state of affairs is dang near impossible! So many people are turning to making their own, but who wants them in a boring plastic bottle? Let Vanessa show you how to spice them up with these super cute cleaner labels! Sometimes crafts for adults means making adult things, ya know?
DIY Grocery Tote Bags
Reusable shopping bags have always been a good idea, but now they’re an even better idea. Mainly because touching shopping bags may not be the best idea as of late. But with your own DIY grocery tote bags from Kim at Celebration Shoppe, you can make your own in a flash! I also love these because these are great gift ideas to give to your friends, even if you can’t see them up close. Drop it on their doorstep and voila!
Men’s Frozen T-Shirt
Please don’t make me feel alone in that our daughter has barely worn any other clothes apart from her princess dresses and asked to watch Frozen 2 and listen to Frozen 2 songs approximately 438905 times since she’s been out of school. BUT! Now it’s time to force some fun on dad! What a nice easy craft for idea for adults, including DAD ADULTS. HA! Jen really did a cute job with this Frozen shirt for dads though, with the perfect touches!
DIY Garden Stakes
I have wanted to start a garden for years and have been terrified because I just don’t know what I’m doing, but I have definitely been looking into it more to see if there are things that I can plant now and have my summer garden on point. But I also have a terrible memory and so I would absolutely need something like these little garden stakes from Chelsea at Someday I’ll Learn that seem super easy to make and out of old forks! This is a great easy DIY thrift project too!
DIY Bunny Knot Headbands
Alright, alright, I know I said these were easy crafts for adults, but hear me out – I have seen something like this for adults on Amazon (like these right here!) and they are really popular right now. I think you could totally rock these super cute headbands from Ginger as an adult!
Desk Drawer Organization
I know for some of you, organization is in no way, shape or form a really cool or easy craft idea for adults. Or children. Or teenagers. But personally I love a good organization hack and Lela nailed the cute drawer organization department when she made these labels for her desk drawer! Want to know my favorite part, though? The name of her site is Organized Ish which just makes me chuckle. She seems like my kinda people.
You made me chuckle–I started my blog thinking the same thing you did!! Great projects I haven’t seen before. Great round up!
yeah girl. no chance that would have lasted haha. but thank you so much!!!
