Are you even a home blogger if you don’t have a cocoa bar? Word out here in the streets is no. So, without further adieu, I give you ours.Although I love hot cocoa and love any excuse to drink it (like keeping myself warm on our back porch all gussied up for Christmas), this was the first year making one of these so I wanted to keep it simple.I wasn’t even going to make one this year but honestly I saw this little hot cocoa sign in Hobby Lobby and fell in love with it. I didn’t even buy it the first time I saw it. Or the second. Or third. But then I went in one day and thought they were all gone and my heart was broken. But then I found it and eureka! She came home with me.
I got the hocking jars at Dollar Tree! I didn’t want to go crazy with toppings because truthfully, we have a three and a half year old who wants to eat everything if she sees it and is suddenly “hungry” if she gets a glimpse of food in her peripherals. Her favorite food is yes.
She gets it honest. I had some red and white striped twine and just wrapped them around the necks of the hocking jars to add just a small touch. The little wooden scoops are also from Hobby Lobby, as is the little marshmallow jar.
When I put this together and stepped back to look at it, I just realized it was missing something – art! I don’t know what’s gotten in to me but this seems to be the season for printables. I created one from Elf, I have some hanging above our bed, and now this guy! I’m of course sharing this with all of you guys, my friends! So, all you need to do is sign up for our email list below.
