One Room Challenge Week 4: Niche, please.

Tell all ya friends and neighbors!

One Room Challenge keeps on coming and we are doing our best to keep up. Week 4 details below!

I talked about in our week 3 post that it’s hard to do work to a bathroom when you’re out of town for a week. So, once we got back in town, we were home for 4 days and had something every night that kept us out of the house and now we are out of town this weekend. As in, I’m writing this post from the beautiful view of hotel room decor. (Seriously, what is up with carpet choices in hotels??)

The most exciting thing we completed this week was backerboard around the tub (and who forgot to tell us this was gonna be one of the hardest parts?) and we got both of our niches framed out – the one that will be in our shower and the one that will be in the wall next to the vanity. One Room Challenge week 4 for the Sunshine Shanty guest bath! I know I just said that’s the most exciting thing we got accomplished this week, but it’s actually the second most exciting thing. The first would be that our packages are starting to come in with things like our shower head, our vanity sinks and faucets, our knobs and pulls, and our floor tile! I think once I can see sheetrock and we have some walls, it will calm my little nerves a bit about this whole shebang. Time is closing in on us and neither one of us have ever done a stitch of tile work.

EL OH EL.
